Medically Important & cirs cleaning
Chronic Inflammatory Response Syndrome (CIRS) is a complex and sometimes debilitating condition that appears to be most often triggered by an individual’s exposure to toxic mold and/or toxic mold byproducts in the indoor built environment. Symptoms of CIRS can manifest in many different ways, and can be comprised as a wide array of various symptoms that are specifically unique to each individual suffering from CIRS.
Some of the common symptoms of CIRS are headaches, memory issues and brain fog, tiredness and fatigue, muscle and joint pain, skin rashes, sleep disturbance, skin rashes and irritation, respiratory symptoms such as cough or shortness of breath, digestive issues such as abdominal pain or diarrhea, increased thirst, and neurological symptoms such as numbness, tingling, vertigo or electric shock sensations.
Removal of the individual from the contaminated environment and initiating treatment/detox are the first and most important steps. The second most important step is to remove all causal or potentially aggravating contaminants from the indoor built environment, and to correct any issues that have caused the toxic environment indoors.
The owner of MaxxResto was one of the first people in Arkansas to provide Medically Important Cleaning services. Our owner has also developed a proprietary Medically Important Cleaning Protocol (MICP) that has been reviewed, revised and approved by independent industry experts. Our Medically Important Cleaning protocol was specifically designed to provide the most effective cleaning outcomes for individuals who are immune compromised, genetically predisposed, or are vulnerable to suffering building-related illnesses.
Our MICP protocol is designed to address the removal of, and to the extent possible, all indoor particulate matter that can cause or aggravate CIRS or other building-related illnesses. Our MICP has been carefully and extensively designed to physically eliminate indoor molds and mold-related byproducts such as MVOCs, mycotoxins, beta glucans and airborne or settled mold spores, indoor organic and inorganic dusts, bacteria and bacteria-related byproducts such as endotoxins and exotoxins, bacterial cell wall components such as lipopolysaccharides, as well as most other other indoor airborne and surface particulate matter or contaminants.
Our CIRS cleaning protocol was originally based on the Shoemaker protocol, and has undergone continual revisions and modifications where and when it was realized that additional steps or modifications to our protocol would result in even better cleaning outcomes. Even today our MICP is a living and dynamic document that is certainly open to further additions, revisions, changes or modifications.
If you or someone you know is suffering from CIRS or other potential building-related illness, MaxxResto is the leading provider of this very important service throughout Arkansas. This type of cleaning service can be very expensive and directly affects individual health outcomes, so it is extremely important that the contractor you select possesses the knowledge, ability and experience to perform these highly specialized services.
Lastly, traditional mold remediation equipment and remediation procedures are not effective as a Medically Important Cleaning strategy. Nearly all restoration companies and most traditional mold remediators do not have the equipment, knowledge, expertise or insurance coverages to provide medically important cleaning services.
Our Process
How it works
MaxxResto follows the CIRS protocol triangle, which places the patient in the center, and the patient is thus surrounded by a medical doctor, an indoor environmental professional, and a medically important cleaning contractor. CIRS patients usually work with a medical doctor who is experienced in treating CIRS patients, and the doctor confirms the patient’s CIRS diagnosis. An indoor environmental professional (IEP) works with the doctor and patient to determine if the indoor environment is the causation of the patient’s CIRS diagnosis. Once the environment has been confirmed as the causation of the patient’s CIRS diagnosis, the team at MaxxResto will work with the patient, doctor and IEP to plan and execute an effective Medically Important Cleaning.
What Makes Our Process Better?
In conjunction with the IEP, we thoroughly assess all areas and portions of the structure to evaluate the correction of any causal issues
Our medically important cleaning protocol has been based on years of experience, trial and error, and scientific confirmation of effectiveness
Our cleaning process is designed to remove many different types of indoor airborne and surface particulate matter
Our cleaning process removes tiny particulate matter from the indoor environment such as mycotoxins, endotoxins, actinomycetes and more.
We work with your IEP to ensure that your property does not become contaminated again after the cleaning process is complete
